Wystan Carswell (Civil & Environmental Engineering) and Gordon Stewart (Mechanical and Industrial Engineering) have completed requirements for the PHD to become our first  Offshore Wind IGERT graduates.

Wystan has accepted a position as a staff engineer at Haley & Aldrich, a civil engineering consulting firm in Boston, MA, which starting September 14^th.  http://www.haleyaldrich.com/

Gordon will be taking a 2 year post-doc at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway.  He will be working with Prof. Michael Muskulus on the topic of dynamic analysis and validation of numerical models for floating wind turbines.
