On November 13th IGERT faculty and fellows hosted students from Holyoke Community College on a visit to the UMass Wind Energy Center. The students are participating in a course on renewable energy technologies, including photovoltaics and wind power. The class toured the UMass wind tunnel, and later sat down with fellows from each thrust of the IGERT program for a conversation about the future of wind energy in Massachusetts.
