Bill La Cava attended the ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Conference in Columbus, Ohio. He gave two presentations based on two papers. The first was on his Model Structure Adaptation Method, which is applied to updating models of dynamic systems (in this case vortex induced vibration), and the second was about identifying closed-loop wind turbine dynamics from wind turbines. Both were well received and the conference was very interesting.
