Lone Star Analysis has announced Destenie Nock as the winner of the Student Analytics Glossary Competition. The competition was to define an industrial engineering and operations research term to the general audience in a clear and concise manner. Her entry was as follows:

Robustness:
Robustness measures how well something can keep doing what it is supposed to do when it is under stress or pressure. If you are in a room full of people yelling at you, but you are able to focus and get your work done, then you have a high level of robustness. If you skip work every time it is raining outside then your robustness level needs improvement.
