Massachusetts’ solar policy has made it a leading state for the installation of solar photovoltaic systems; developing a solar installation industry, pushing for the integration of solar into grid and utility planning and regulations, and, through its virtual net metering policy, pioneering a robust community solar market.
Offshore Wind IGERT 2018 Poster Session
The NSF IGERT Offshore Wind Energy Engineering, Environmental Science, and Policy Program began at UMass Amherst in the fall of 2011. Since then we have brought in 30 excellent PhD students, pursuing degrees in seven departments and three colleges across campus.
