Loring named PI on USFWS study

UMass IGERT Fellow Pam Loring will serve as the principal investigator on a new study of common terns and American oystercatchers in the Nantucket sound. The study, which is being administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and funded by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, will track movements of the birds in an effort to determine areas of conservation concern and better site future wind projects in the area.
