Symposium on the Future of Offshore Wind in Massachusetts, Friday 4/8 @ UMass Amherst

On behalf of the UMass Wind Energy Center and the Offshore Wind IGERT program, you are invited to attend an important panel discussion on the future of Offshore Wind in MA .

Panelists will include key industry representatives Thomas Brostrøm from DONG Energy, Jeffrey Grybowski from Deepwater Wind, and Erich Stephens from OffshoreMW, as well as Matthew Morrissey from Offshore Wind MA. Panelists will discuss the path forward to include offshore wind in the energy market in Massachusetts. Massachusetts Senate President Stanley Rosenberg will share his perspective on the future of energy in the state, with a particular focus on offshore wind.

The panel discussion will be held Friday, April 8, 2016, from 2:00-3:30 pm in the Bernie Dallas Memorial Room (Rm. 506), Goodell Building, at UMass Amherst.  The event is free and open to the public.

Immediately following the panel discussion, the Offshore Wind IGERT program will host a poster session, showcasing recent work by NSF IGERT student fellows. This event will be held down the hall from the panel discussion, in the Goodell building, Room 504 until 5:30pm.
