Bridget's research pertains to flow-induced instabilities of vertical-axis wind turbine blades studied experimentally.

While a student at Bunker Hill Community College, Bridget came to UMass Amherst in 2016 to participate in the Wind Energy REU where she conducted experimental research in the FSI Lab with Dr. Yahya Modarres-Sadeghi. Her project focused on the response of an airfoil (NACA 0021 profile) undergoing vortex-induced vibrations. Bridget transferred to UMass Amherst in 2017 to complete her undergraduate degree and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. She also has a B.S. in Business Administration from Xavier University. She is currently a PhD student in the FSI Lab.
